Muntigunung Development Program
High up in the rural mountain villages of Muntigunung, North East Bali, the local communities live a much less privileged life than most Balinese. A life that forces many of the inhabitants to go begging in the tourist areas of South Bali.
We feel fortunate to have found a way to support local families by working together with them to build access to clean water, health and educational services and to create job opportunities.
Our social enterprises produce high quality handcrafted baskets, bags, hammocks, batik scarves and a range of healthy food products made from cashew nuts, rosella, palm sugar, mango and moringa.
